The author Tara Lazar has chosen our pup Doodle to be the mascot of her forthcoming Picture Book Idea Month. Here's what Kayla and I created. I did the drawing and Kayla colored it. And Tara added the text.
I'm really excited for this event. She's having guest bloggers write about their experiences in the kid lit world and she asked Kayla and I to be guest bloggers! This is doubly amazing because two of my children's book heroes are also guest blogging. Peter Brown, and James Burks!!
